Sorry for disturbing, Wrong Number

I remember a story told in Mohan.C.Lozarus brother Camp, too interesting story.

Satan has continuously disturbing one man’s house everyday night @2’0 clock. The man doesn’t know what to do. Even he cant able to sleep in the previous night itself, Fear filled his eyes and the heart is beating fast, He hears the calling bell sound, when he goes and open the door there is none but he hears the laughing sound, everyday this is happening in his home.

He Know that Jesus Defeated the devil and destroyed all his powers in the cross. So he invited Jesus to come to his home, Jesus went inside his home. He said to Jesus, God i have 10 rooms in my house, take a room which you like and be comfort, other rooms i will reside. Jesus said sure Son and stays in one room.

Next night sharply at 2’0 clock, satan came and disturbing him again pressing the calling bell continuously. He goes to Jesus, and complaints him, God You are being inside still he’s is disturbing me why?
Jesus smiled and replied,” My Son, satan does not disturb me and the rooms which i reside…”
He thinks and Said to Jesus, Yes Father, You are right, God take one more room, Jesus take control of another room too.

Next night sharply at 2’0 clock, satan came and disturbing him again pressing the calling bell continuously. He goes to Jesus, and complaints him, God You are being inside still he’s is disturbing me why?
Jesus smiled and replied,” My Son, satan does not disturb me and the rooms which i reside…”. He Said to Jesus, God take this entire first floor, i will be reside in ground floor, Jesus take control of first floor now.

Next night sharply at 2’0 clock, satan came and disturbing him again pressing the calling bell continuously. He started doubting Whether Jesus really having power or not. Even though he went to Jesus and said satan is disturbing me again. Jesus smiled and replied,” My Son, satan does not disturb me and the rooms which i reside…” He Said to Jesus, God take all the 9 rooms, but leave the one to me and for my friends. Jesus said sure and take control of all the 9 rooms.

Next day 2’0 clock morning satan came and disturbing him again,
He straightly goes to Jesus and said what should i do now? Jesus replied him, Son give that 10th room also to me, and you come and stay with me.

He did so, Jesus take control of the whole house, Now this matter that satan doesn’t know that Jesus is inside the house.

Next day 2’0 clock Devil came and disturbing him again, he pressed the calling bell continuously. Now the Door opened, Satan sees Jesus opens the Door, He salutes Jesus and said Oh!!!!! Sorry for Disturbing Lord! Wrong Number!!! and turned back and start running….:-))))

ha ha ha…..:))))

Satan has fallen… Jesus Conquered the Grave….:))))

Similarly, Check yourself today! Even You gave 99% percent of your heart to Jesus and the remaining 1% to Worldly things(films, friends, entertainment), Satan will take advantage of that 1% and start giving problem to us, We are the Sufferer. But, if we given our whole heart to Jesus, we never get stick into any problems, Everything Jesus will be taken control. Give Your whole heart to Jesus, Love Jesus with all of your heart and soul.

God Tests Us To See If We Love Him:

You must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul (Deut. 13:3)

God(Jesus) is so conscious and keen to watch whether we love him with all our heart and all our soul, Check yourself today whether we given first place to Jesus or to any other person(husband/wife/lover/mother/father/son/daughter)/ or thing / or job, position in this world. If we given first place to any other person, one day they will betray us, If we given first place to any other thing in the world, one day they will gone out; If we given first place to job, one day it will be taken it away from us. But if given first place to Jesus, we will not be Perish.

Such a wonderful God we have. He does not ask us Gold or platinum but he is asking our heart, weeping for our love. Even Your father and mother forsaken you one day, Jesus never forsaken You. Love Jesus with all of your heart and soul.

what is the meaning of “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

What is the meaning of this line?

Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

The Same verse is already mentioned by the prophecy of Isaiah:

Isaiah says “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.

We read this verse in the Book :Matthew 13:10-11,13-15)

“The disciples came to JESUS and asked, ‘Why do you speak to the people in parables?’ JESUS replied, ‘The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them(WORLDLY PEOPLE) … This is why I speak to them in parables: .“Though seeing, they(WORLDLY PEOPLE) do not see; though hearing, they(WORLDLY PEOPLE) do not hear or understand.”. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes …”’” (Matthew 13:10-11,13-15)

What does this means?

Today Almost all the people know very well that Jesus Christ is the ONE and ONLY LORD! , even-though they wont accept Christ as their own Savior.

Worldly People Know very well that Jesus’ reason for coming to earth the first time was that He could be our(human beings) substitute in paying the full penalty for our sins, even-though they wont turn towards Jesus.

Worldly People Know very well that Jesus is, the Name above all the names. Every Kneel shall bow before him, and every tongue confess that Jesus is the Lord, even they came and pray to Jesus, But They wont stand near to Jesus not even a minute.

Worldly People Know very well that, Jesus CHRIST is THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN, even-though they wont came out of their false belonging’s.

This we read in the book of (2 Corinthians 4:4) says “The god of this world[Satan] has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the good news of the glory of Christ …”

Unbelievers Accept Jesus Christ as one of the God among their other Gods, But They wont accept In heaven, there is ONE AND ONLY GOD in the form of 3 Father,Son(Jesus Christ),Holy Spirit.

God is not a stone… not sand… not a sculpture made of stone…. (JESUS) is the only Living God… !

God have no Form… God have no Structure… God is in Spirit..!

The things that are made… are not GOD. The things that we see… are not GOD, but Christ (JESUS)is the only GOD.

“He [Jesus] was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own (Israel), but his own did not receive him.” (John 1:10,11)

Because Jesus Knew Many People Have So Hardened Their Hearts And Surrendered To Satan, That They Could Not Recognize Who He Really Is And Why He Came:

Jesus found in the temple after 3 days at the age of 12

Luke 2:39-52

[39] When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth. [40] And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.

[41] Every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Passover. [42] When he was twelve years old, they went up to the Feast, according to the custom. [43] After the Feast was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. [44] Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends. [45] When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him. [46] After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. [47] Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. [48] When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”

Jesus found in the temple after 3 days at the age of 12

[49] “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” [50] But they did not understand what he was saying to them.

[51] Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart. [52] And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

Annual Trip to Jerusalem for Passover (2:41)

“Every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Passover.” (2:41)

Theoretically, Jewish men were required to go to three feasts in Jerusalem each year — Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles — though only the Passover was strictly observed. Those at some distance, especially the poor, could not attend all the feasts. [4] Passover celebrated God delivering the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt, and pilgrims to the feast would stay a minimum of two days, sometimes longer.

Left Behind at 12 Years of Age (2:42-45)
Pilgrims to the feast in Jerusalem usually traveled in a large party or caravan. The caravan was made up of many of Mary and Joseph’s friends and relatives from Galilee, and they naturally supposed that Jesus was somewhere in the crowd. No doubt when they camped for the night and Jesus was nowhere to be seen, they became alarmed. By this time they were probably 20 to 25 miles north of Jerusalem. It is used in early papyrus documents of searching for criminals and fugitive slaves, When they inquired and discovered that no one had seen Jesus, they returned to Jerusalem, probably leaving early the next morning and arriving in the city about nightfall.

Sitting Among the Teachers in the Temple (2:46-47)
“After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.” (2:46-47)

“After three days” probably means “on the third day” — one day traveling north to Galilee by caravan, one day returning south to Jerusalem, and then the third day searching until they found Jesus.

Rebuked by His Mother (2:48)
“When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, ‘Son, why have you do us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.'” (2:48)

Jesus is so engaged when his parents finally spot him. Luke describes Mary’s and Joseph’s reaction to finding him among the teachers in the temple as being “astonished”. Once Mary sees that Jesus is safe, she asks jesus “Why did you do this to us?”

Jesus’ Reply: My Father’s House (2:49-50)
‘Why were you searching for me?’ he asked. ‘Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?’ But they did not understand what he was saying to them.” (2:49-50)

Children can be perverse, deceitful, and manipulative. Jesus, at the age of twelve, who is so engrossed in discussing and learning the Scriptures that he hasn’t realized the caravan had left without him. Later he found they had already left, he decided to stay put where they could find him. And, surely, they should know where to find him — in the Temple, in his Father’s house.

“Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” The personal intimacy of the phrase “my Father” referring to God is unprecedented in Jewish literature, where it might be expressed as “in heaven” or “our Father.

Obeying His Parents (2:51a)
Jesus was sensing his call to obey the Father. But part of that obedience involved submitting to his parents: “Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them” (2:51a).

Many of us have learned that it is difficult to submit to those who aren’t as intelligent as we are, or as spiritually acute. It can be hard. But it is also necessary — at least for a time — so that God can work on other things in our lives. It was necessary for Jesus at this time. The call was there, but it was not yet time to fulfill it. He must wait, learn, grow, and prepare himself for that time when he will enter into his ministry.

Growing in Wisdom, Stature, and Favor (2:52)
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” (2:51-52)

Jesus is “filled with wisdom” (2:40), and yet he still grows in wisdom (2:52). This passage covers the next two decades from age twelve until he is about 30 years of age and enters upon his public ministry.

Notice the three areas of growth:

wisdom, spiritual insight,
stature, physical size, and
favor with God and man.

Unlike John the Baptist, whose rough manner wasn’t particularly attractive, Jesus gained favor with people. They liked him. They were attracted to him. “Favor” is the same word, charis, that is translated “grace” in verse 40. But Jesus also was favored by God, his Father. Unique in all time and history, Jesus is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
